Secab PU college for women, celebrated the 78th Independence day -2024. Hon.Kum. Sindhu M.Potadar. District & Sessions Judge, I Addl.Prl. Family Court Judge, Vijayapur, unfurled the National Flag! In her talk emphasised that It is our collective efforts and determination that have made us a strong and prosperous nation. it is our responsibility to carry forward the values of freedom, equality, and justice & It is our duty to uphold the Constitution and protect the rights of every individual. Let us promote unity, tolerance, and harmony to create a society that is inclusive and equitable for all. let us empathize & pay tribute to the heroes who laid their lives for our freedom.
The future responsible & talented brains of India participated enthusiastically with their cognizant in various genres like patriotic songs, speeches & enacted about the women's freedom! Felicitation to 2nd year toppers & literary prizes were distributed.

A HAPPY SMILE IS A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT
A dental checkup camp and oral health awareness talk was organized, at Secab PU college for women , in collaboration with Al Ameen Medical College, Vijayapur. on 12/09/24. The main objective of this camp is to make aware & provide initial oral health care for the girl students. The alumnae of our college *Dr. Semen Nazeer, Dr. Huzaifa Dr. Anam & Dr. Salma ( HoD), highlighted about the importance of good oral health and its connection to overall health. Emphasized on the consequences of poor oral health & hygiene conditions like gingivitis and tooth decay lead to or worsen other health issues, oral health is also affected by other diseases. Students underwent Free dental check-ups. The Principal & staff shouldered the responsibility to accomplish the predetermined objective.

There is no beauty better than INTELLECT SEERAT- UN - NABI of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was observed, at Secab PU College for Women, on 13/09/24. The preachings, teachings, sermons, messages was conveyed by Mr. A.C.Surkhi, lecturer in Arabic. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was, is & will be the most exemplary role model to all the human beings. He alluded the views of philosophers, Prof. Ramkrishna Rao said, Muhammad, the Orator; the Reformer; the Protector of slaves; the Refuge of orphans; the Emancipator of women.

SECAB PU college for women, celebrated Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti to mark the birth anniversary of Father of our nation Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and second prime minister of our nation Lal Bahadur Shastri. Mr. U.N.Kuntoji, lecturer in Kannada delineated the Gandhian philosophy and ideology. Students commemorate their preaches and lessons through the speeches and patriotic songs. The slogan 'JAI JAWAN JAI KISSAN' given by Shastri inspires our country's farmers to be strong and self-reliant. In contemporary times we need leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Shastri who could give their outmost love, allegiance and dedication to our country.

On this occasion Principal & teachers participated in cleanliness related activities, thereby strengthening the Swachh Bharat Mission with the youth of the nation.
